Lily and Jason were so lucky to have their wedding under the cherry blossom trees in Kumeu Valley Estate, as the cherry blossom season only lasts for two weeks.
I love how my brides knows exactly what they want. Lily is definitely the one; she loves vintage style, and that's one of the reasons she chose Kumeu Valley Estate as the venue.
Her wedding dress was beautiful — it's like stepping back into the '90s. The veil pinned up in her hair and the little details, such as the gloves, definitely completed the look. My favourite makeup artist, YUYU, definitely did an amazing job as usual.
Before their wedding day, Lily asked me about my morning shooting routine. I told her that usually in the morning, I would start taking photos of the room, candid shots of you guys getting ready, and then flat lay and detail shots of your wedding rings, shoes, wedding dress, etc.
After hearing my answer, Lily told me she didn't want any of those photos. Instead, she asked if she could have photos of her and her animals. I was surprised and asked how many animals she had. As you can see from the photos, it was an interesting and different morning for me.
